If your washing machine hasn’t been getting your clothes as clean as it used to, the first thing you should do is clean out the drain pump filter. The drain pump filter is used to filter out debris such as lint, loose change and other small objects that could get into the inner workings of your washer and cause greater problems. If you decide you want to clean the tub out with a specialized tub cleaner, such as Affresh, all you’ll need to do is follow the instructions that are on the package. After the wash cycle has completed, you will just need to wait for the wash tub to cool down and then wipe it off with a clean, dry towel. And that’s it! So easy
